Empowering Academic Excellence Through Continuous Professional Development

CPD Project
Three-Year Educational Enhancement Launches
We are delighted to announce a three-year initiative designed to help transform teaching and assessment practices across our institution. This CPD programme will focus on a different strategic educational theme each year, providing comprehensive support and development opportunities for all academic staff.
What Happened in Year 1:
AI in Teaching and Assessment The first year explored AI use in education, examining its opportunities, its implications for academic integrity and future pedagogical approaches. See resources here.
What’s Happening in Year 2:
Extracting & Embedding Employability in your teaching practice. The second year will focus on employability and how we can best articulate and showcase the employability value that already exists within our curricula. Our focus is on strategies to help our students readily identify the capabilities that are taught in our modules and articulate them confidently. See resources here.
